Anti-mapping is the expression of hostility and dislike towards the Mapping genre, and channels heavily involved in it. It is a school of thought and the notion that Mapping as a medium and as a community is a waste of time, and therefore, should be abolished so that Mappers can spend their time more productively.
Anti-mapping had existed for a very long time in the minds of many former and some existing mappers. The term was coined in 2014 by Anti-Mappers in the creation of the Anti-Mapper Wiki.
