World War 3 was a war in the Paxverse preceding Pax Americana in which mainly the Russian Federation and China fought against America and their allies.
Over the course of many episodes, small clips of this war were shown, until the episode '' Precedently '' came out, which showed a lot more detail about the events that lead to the war and the war itself.
The Road to WW3[]
In 2019, America and Russia are great rivals, both with powerful allies and great ambitions. While the world is focused on the main battle between East and West, new friendships begin to be formed, like the one between Abyssinia and East Africa.
However, the USA and Russia have worked together, wanting to take down the PRC government to install a democratic China to ensure world peace. America firstly goes along with the idea, but after sharing the information to some other countries, they backed out of the agreement. Russia would be ( obviously ) angry, trying to teach the new China ( who lost all memory ) to hate the Americans, while America was secretly sending them information, which would be terrible for Russia in the future.
The era from 2022 to 2045 is a one of increasing tensions. Both America and Russia start getting allies across the planet, especially the East managed to get many African allies, thanks to China's funding in the area since the 2000's. Many countries, like India and Brazil, decided to stay out of this huge fiasco, to avoid danger to their population.
We don't know exactly what happens, nor if Russia had any involvement in this, but Russia claims that the Ukrainians have done something. Despite China's efforts, Russia still declares war on Ukraine, which is followed by NATO intervention, starting WW3.
A lot of other things happened before WW3 started, like the unification of Austria and Germany or of Moldova and Romania, formation of a united Korea, Chinese annexation of Mongolia, Russian annexation of Kazakhstan, Belarus and other Eurasian Union members, formation of Algeria-Tripolitania, etc. All of these events are not very important to the plot or have specifically been pointed out.
The Third World War
2046 - The first year passes by, and NATO isn't doing so well. Ukraine and the Baltic states have fell, and Russia continues their rapid advancement into Eastern Europe, with Serbia falling, surrounded by it's neighbors. Sierra Leone and Paraguay have met the same fate. The African front is going terribly as well.
After a conversation with America, India finally decides to join the war. This would be a major turning point, convincing many other countries to either join the war or switch sides.
2048 - Only a few pro-Russian countries remain, with their remaining African allies surrendering. Indonesia and Iran are also on their last legs, while China is already planning something.
2049 - China reveals to be a double-agent this whole time, who shared information to the West about their military movements, playing a role in the fall of Russia.
2050 - American, European and Chinese forces surrounded Moscow. Russia finally surrenders, ending the Third World War entirely.

North and South America[]
The United States manages to gain Baja California and Sonora from Mexico, Belize and Newfoundland from Canada. Canada lost Quebec, which declared independence. ( unknown if this happened in 2050 or after ). Mexico gained only Guatemala, but as mentioned lost land to the US. Remaining central American countries unified. Colombia managed to gain Ecuador, Venezuela and Guyana, forming Gran Colombia. The Second Peru-Bolivian Confederation is also formed. Brazil has reformed into the Union of Brazil. Argentina formed the Union of Rio de la Plata with Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Europe[]
Netherlands has annexed Flanders from Belgium. Spain ( which lost Basque and Catalonia ) united with Portugal to form the Iberian Union. Croat-Slavia has formed as a successor of Croatia. Bulgaria gained North Macedonia. Ukraine managed to get Rostov, Crimea, Krasnodar and some other Russian territories. Many new Caucasian countries have been formed ( I think some include Chechnya, Dagestan and Ossetia ). White Ruthenia also managed to get independence, as well as Karelia, Siberia, Sakha and the Far East.
Africa[]
New countries, like Maghreb, Sahara, Nile, Central Africa, Congo and Zambezi have been formed.
Asia[]
Central Turkic nations unified into Turkestan. The Indochinese/ Siam nations formed Mekong. The Union of Sunda also was formed. The Union of Oceania was also formed.
The Council of Liberty is created, with the mission to protect the world peace. The Original members are the USA, Brazil, UK, France, Germany, East Africa, South Africa, China, Japan and Oceania.
The world was in peace for 50 years, with the CoL preventing all conflicts until the Malayan War in 2100.
